This fun project uses discarded cardboard (backs of writing tablets, cereal boxes and old folders), string, aluminum foil and black acrylic paint.
1. Cut out the shapes, glue them on top of one another.
2. Glue down string for lines on fins and tail.
3. Then glue foil over the whole thing.
4. You can etch in bubbles, seaweed, smaller fish and sea creatures with an ink pen.
5. Paint the whole thing with black acrylic paint then wipe of with paper towels, leaving black paint in the folds and along edges.

You can also create butterflies, turtles and flowers.
These great fish were created by students at eLearningK12 in Thibodaux, Louisiana.
